Part-Time Wedding Dance Instructor (Bay Area) Steps to Love Wedding Dances

Do you love dance and working with people? Do you enjoy helping others feel confident, connected, and fully themselves? We're hiring one special instructor to join our team at Steps to Love® Wedding Dances. You'll work with engaged couples to create their first dance and guide them to move together with ease, confidence, and real connection. This is not a typical dance teaching role.

You are helping create one of the most meaningful moments of their lives. What you'll do Teach private lessons to engaged couples Break down movement in a clear, supportive way Help couples feel comfortable, connected, and confident Learn and apply the Steps to Love® teaching method Create a fun, welcoming, and professional experience This role is a great fit if you: Have a background in dance (partner dance is a plus, not required) Love working with people and building connection Are warm, engaging, and emotionally aware Can lead while adapting to different personalities Are reliable, responsive, and professional Are available evenings and weekends Compensation We offer above industry-average pay with clear growth over time. Starting at $60 per session Increases built in as you gain experience and teach more sessions Top instructors earn up to $100 per session Training & onboarding We provide a structured training program to teach you our methodology, teaching approach, and session flow. Training is unpaid A $300 training deposit is required to reserve your spot The deposit is fully refunded after completing training and teaching 10 client sessions This deposit reflects the level of training, support, and above-average earning potential we provide, and ensures we're working with instructors who are committed.
