Intro to Dance Instructor (Friday & Saturday)

Santa Barbara, CA About Us:
Ariana's Dance Movement Company is a new and growing dance program dedicated to creating a fun, structured, and inspiring environment where children can explore movement while building confidence and foundational technique. We specialize in introductory classes in ballet and tap for young dancers.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and reliable dance instructor to teach Intro to Dance classes on Fridays and Saturdays, with additional opportunities to substitute during the week as needed. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children and can bring innovative energy, creativity, and positivity into the classroom.
Responsibilities:
Teach introductory dance classes (ballet & tap) for young children Lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons focused on basic technique and movement Create a fun, supportive, and structured class environment Follow provided curriculum while incorporating your own creativity Choreograph dances for students to perform at the end of each session Maintain professionalism with students and parents Be available to substitute weekday classes when needed
Qualifications:
Preferred:
Teaching experience with children OR 5+ years of dance training, especially in ballet and/or tap Passion for working with children Outgoing, positive, and dependable Ability to bring fresh, innovative energy into each class Must obtain CPR certification prior to August 10
Schedule & Start Date:
Fridays & Saturdays (set class schedule) Additional weekday substitute opportunities available
