Canyon High School Dance Coach Starting date: 7/1/26 Application deadline: Until filled

Qualifications:

Valid Coaching Certification

• Demonstrated success in building a positive culture in an athletic program.
• Successful dance experience
• Knowledge and passion for dance
• A strong desire to work with students and parents at a high school level
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively and productively with other coaches, administrators, activities director and staff members to support and instill high standards and expectations for all students and dancers
• Demonstrated outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Professional demeanor when representing Canyon High School and the William S. Hart Union High School District
• Experience in working with budgets, booster organizations, inventory controls, and media representatives
• Experience with the styles such as contemporary, ballet, and jazz as well as working with kids.

Flexibility to attend events such as rallies, games, and competitions. A teaching position is not available at this time. Teachers who are employed at a different high school within the William S. Hart UHSD cannot be considered as a candidate for this coaching position.
