Pay Rate:
$25-$35/hour (based on experience) Join an Exciting Performing Arts Enrichment Program Are you passionate about dance and inspiring students through movement and artistic expression? We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Dance Instructor to lead engaging dance classes this fall. This program introduces students to the fundamentals of dance while encouraging creativity, self-expression, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Students will explore movement, rhythm, musicality, coordination, and basic choreography while developing performance skills and an appreciation for the performing arts. Through interactive activities and creative exercises, students will gain confidence both on and off the dance floor. Whether you're a dance teacher, performer, choreographer, dance student, or arts educator, this is a rewarding opportunity to share your passion and help students discover the joy of dance. Curriculum guidance and program support are provided so you can focus on creating an engaging and memorable learning experience. What You'll Do Lead engaging dance classes in a positive and supportive learning environment Teach age-appropriate dance techniques, movement skills, rhythm, and coordination Introduce students to choreography, creative movement, and performance concepts Encourage self-expression, confidence, creativity, and teamwork Foster an appreciation for music, movement, and the performing arts Adapt instruction to accommodate varying skill levels and experience Create a welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging classroom culture Guide students through warm-ups, movement exercises, dance routines, and creative activities Monitor student progress and provide positive feedback and encouragement Maintain classroom organization and ensure a safe learning environment Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff Arrive prepared and ready to deliver an exceptional dance experience What We're Looking For Passion for dance, performing arts, and youth development Experience in dance instruction, choreography, performance, or related disciplines Strong communication and classroom leadership skills Ability to motivate and engage students through creative movement activities Patient, energetic, dependable, and professional attitude Comfortable leading group instruction and physical activities Prior teaching, coaching, camp, recreation, or youth program experience is a plus but not required Background in Dance, Performing Arts, Theater, Education, or related fields is highly encouraged Why You'll Love This Role Competitive pay: $25-$35/hour based on experience Flexible part-time opportunity Share your passion for dance and artistic expression Help students build confidence, creativity, and performance skills Gain valuable teaching, leadership, and arts education experience Supportive program environment with curriculum guidance provided Rewarding work that combines creativity, mentorship, and youth development Opportunity to make a lasting impact through the performing arts Perfect For Dance instructors and choreographers Professional and aspiring performers Dance and Performing Arts students Arts educators and teaching artists Cheer, movement, and performing arts coaches Camp counselors and youth program leaders Anyone passionate about helping students grow through creativity and movement Ready to Inspire Through Dance?
