Job Description
Job Summary Santos Medical Center is currently looking for a Gym Staff/ Instructor that will ignite the passion for movement, coordination, and confidence for our patients! In this energetic role, you'll lead engaging gym classes that promote physical development, safety, and fun. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire patients to reach new heights in their athletic journey while fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. Duties Design and deliver safe, structured lessons tailored to various skill levels. Monitor participants closely to ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities Manage behavior effectively to maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning and fun Assist with setting up equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the gym environment is safe and welcoming Provide feedback and encouragement to motivate patients and track their progress over time Experience Must speak English and Spanish Prior experience highly preferred Background in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with seniors is advantageous Experience working with seniors Certifications in health clubs or gyms are beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for ongoing learning is essential Join us in shaping a vibrant work environment dedicated to health, fitness, and community!
