Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a commitment to educating students of all ages. This role involves creating an engaging learning environment that fosters creativity, discipline, and a love for dance. The Dance Instructor will be responsible for developing lesson plans, teaching various dance styles, and ensuring a positive experience for all students. Duties Develop and implement engaging dance curriculum tailored to various age groups and skill levels. Instruct students in different dance styles while promoting proper techniques and safety practices. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to maintain a positive learning environment. Provide individualized attention to students, offering feedback and encouragement to enhance their skills. Organize and participate in performances, recitals, or competitions as needed. Collaborate with other instructors to create interdisciplinary programs that may include elements of culinary arts or early childhood education. Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns related to their child's development in dance. Experience Proven experience in dance instruction or related fields such as preschool education, tutoring, or special education is preferred. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively. Background in early childhood education is a plus, particularly in integrating creative arts into learning experiences. Experience in curriculum development that incorporates dance as a form of expression and education is highly desirable. A passion for working with children and fostering their growth through the art of dance is essential.
