Dance Instructor

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and education, with the ability to inspire and engage students of all ages. This role involves teaching various dance styles, creating lesson plans, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students. Teach various dance styles including tumbling, ensuring proper technique and safety. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment. Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their skills and confidence. Organize and participate in performances, showcasing students' progress. Collaborate with other instructors to create a well-rounded curriculum. Maintain a safe and clean studio space for all classes. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and class activities. Skills Experience in preschool education or early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong lesson planning abilities to create structured and effective classes. Knowledge of theater arts can enhance performance opportunities for students. Proficient in behavior management techniques to handle diverse classroom dynamics. Effective classroom management skills to ensure a positive learning atmosphere. Experience working with students of varying abilities, including special education needs. Familiarity with photography can be an asset for documenting student performances and events. A passion for dance and teaching, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
