Job Description

General Statement of Duties:
Peacock's Performing Arts Center is looking for a dance instructor to add to our excellent team for the 2026-2027 season. Instructor must be qualified in a area of Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop for beginners to advanced levels.
Status:
Independent Contractor Hourly Compensation:
Based on experience
Typical Physical Demands:
Standing, sitting, and walking. Instructor must be able to demonstrate dance for the class participants.
Typical Working Conditions:
Indoor air conditioned dance studio
Job Segments:
Ability to teach strong technique to all levels and ages for beginners to advanced levels. Love and passion for dance Age appropriate choreography skills Provide a safe, clean, quality instruction Good communication skills with participants and parents
Education/Experience:
Seeking an instructor with 2 or more years of teaching experience Effect on

This job description may not be all-inclusive and independent contracted instructors are expected to perform all other duties as assigned and directed by the owners. Job description and duties may be modified when deemed appropriate by owners.
