Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, including ballet, theater dance, and other styles Lead energetic and motivating dance classes that emphasize technique, creativity, and enjoyment Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure safety, positive behavior, and inclusive participation Provide personalized coaching and tutoring to help students improve their dancing abilities and achieve their goals Incorporate elements of choreography, lesson planning, and performance preparation into your teaching sessions Engage with students' progress through regular assessments and constructive feedback Utilize photography or video recordings to document performances or track student development when appropriate Requirements Proven experience in teaching dance styles such as ballet, theater dance, or contemporary dance with classroom management skills Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and working with children or adults in educational settings Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education practices Ability to foster a supportive environment for students of all ages while promoting confidence and creativity Familiarity with theatrical arts or performance-based instruction is a plus Experience in classroom experience or preschool experience is highly desirable Skills in sewing or costume design are advantageous for choreography or performance preparation Passion for dancing combined with excellent communication skills to motivate learners of diverse backgrounds Embark on a rewarding journey as a Dance Instructor where your talent transforms lives through movement!
