Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Competition Dance Teacher to inspire and develop talented dancers in a vibrant, energetic environment. This role involves designing innovative choreography, coaching students through competitive routines, and fostering a love for dance that motivates students to excel. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to nurturing young dancers' skills and confidence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with dedicated students and contribute to their artistic growth and competitive success. Duties Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored for competition levels, incorporating various styles such as jazz, pom and hip hop. Choreograph and or assist in choreography of compelling routines that showcase students' talents.. Provide personalized coaching to enhance technique and performance. Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring safety, discipline, and positive engagement. Plan and execute rehearsals that maximize progress. Support students' overall development. Frequently capture high-quality photographs. Requirements Experience in teaching dance with a focus on competition preparation. Experience in lesson planning, and classroom management. Ability to work effectively with children of various ages. Experience with dance competitions.. Excellent communication skills. Passion for dance where your expertise will make a lasting impact on young performers' lives while allowing you to showcase your creativity.
