656 Hawthorn Center, which is approximately 22 miles north of Chicago The Opportunity Rootz is seeking an Early Childhood Dance Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year, starting mid-August and running through the end of May with opportunities to continue beyond the school year. This role involves teaching ballet, hip hop, jazz, and tap to children aged 2.5 to 5. Experience with parent-and-child classes for 1.5 to 2.5-year-olds is a plus. A great group of instructors and choreographers are already in place, and we are excited to welcome a new addition to the team! Our ideal candidate is a teacher with at least 2 years of dance experience

This person would need to be great with children of all ages but have experience working with young dancers. Instructors must be available during the daytime hours. We offer classes 7 days a week, and additional teaching hours are available during the evenings as well. Compensation ranges from $25 to $50 per hour, depending on qualifications. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging instruction and rehearsals for early childhood dancers. Implement activities aligned with program objectives.
