656 Hawthorn Center, which is approximately 22 miles north of Chicago The Opportunity Rootz is seeking a Youth Competition Cheer and Tumbling Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year, starting mid-August and running through the end of May with opportunities to continue beyond the school year. This role involves teaching cheerleading and tumbling classes to youth ranging in ages 4 - 14. Experience with cheer choreography is a must. A great group of instructors and choreographers are already in place, and we are excited to welcome a new addition to the team! Our ideal candidate is a teacher with at least 2 years of cheer and tumbling experience specifically in competitive cheer and has a ton of love and energy for the classroom! The ideal candidate has a healthy knowledge of cheer choreography, music, and an understanding of all-star compete rules and regulations. This person would need to be great with children of all ages but have experience working with young cheerleaders and tumblers. Instructors must have after school and weekend availability. Saturday availability is a must for this position. We offer classes 7 days a week. Compensation ranges from $25 to $50 per hour, depending on qualifications. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging instruction and rehearsals for young tumblers and cheerleaders. Implement activities aligned with program objectives.
