Baseball Pitching instructor D-BAT Zionsville Baseball and Softball Facility Indianapolis, IN Job Details Contract $30 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance On-the-job training Employee discount Gym membership Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Baseball Teaching Full Job Description Job Overview D-BAT Zionsville is looking for someone who would like to live out their passion for sports by giving baseball instruction, which includes one on one sessions and camps/clinics to all ages. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated person who loves the game of baseball and/or softball. They would also have an excitement for working with youth ballplayers and showing a willingness to develop, set goals and help ballplayers achieve those goals. Other traits that are desired include having a positive attitude, willingness to be part of a team environment, and a desire to be challenged and stretched beyond your comfort zone. You will receive an elite facility to house your business, one of the best baseball and softball markets in the country to work in, and the D-BAT team will give you 100% support to build your book of business.
Job Functions:
Make yourself available for promo lessons and first-time lessons that could turn into regular clients Adhere by D-BAT instruction policies and procedures including following the rebooking process to ensure that you keep your clients on the schedule and coach in a way that is in line with D-BAT's missions and values Develop a specific instructional plan for every client Strong baseball playing background (high school, college, or professional experience preferred) Previous coaching or instruction experience preferred Ability to work with athletes of varying ages and skill levels Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to build relationships with players and families and grow their own lesson clientele Self-motivated and proactive in promoting lessons and retaining customers Reliable and professional demeanor Available a minimum of 15+ hours per week Availability on both weekdays and weekends , including evenings
