Ballet Instructor (Part-Time)

Job Description LA Dance Academy is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Ballet Instructor to join our team for the upcoming season. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to strong classical technique while creating a positive and inspiring environment for young dancers. Our ballet program serves students from beginner through advanced levels , including pre-pointe and pointe training. The ideal candidate has experience teaching structured ballet classes and enjoys mentoring dancers while helping them grow technically and artistically. Responsibilities Teach ballet classes for multiple age groups and skill levels Provide strong technical instruction in alignment, placement, and ballet fundamentals Prepare dancers for performances and recitals Create engaging and structured class plans Encourage discipline, confidence, and a love for dance Communicate professionally with studio staff and students Preferred Qualifications Prior ballet teaching experience Strong classical ballet training Experience teaching pre-pointe and pointe is a plus Ability to work with children and teens of varying skill levels Reliable, professional, and positive attitude Schedule Part-time evening classes (exact schedule based on availability) About LA Dance Academy LA Dance Academy is a growing dance studio in Covington, Louisiana offering a variety of recreational and competitive programs.
