Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Instructor/Program Director to lead dynamic, competitive dance programs that inspire creativity, foster growth, and promote a positive culture among diverse age groups. In this role, you will develop engaging curricula, oversee class operations, and manage a team of instructors to deliver exceptional dance education. Your enthusiasm for dance, combined with strong leadership skills, will help cultivate a vibrant community where students can thrive through movement, expression, and performance. Responsibilities Design comprehensive dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, incorporating styles such as ballet, theater dance, and contemporary movement. Lead engaging dance classes that motivate students, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for learners of all backgrounds. Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management techniques, fostering respect, discipline, and enthusiasm among students. Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional techniques. Coordinate special events such as performances, showcases, or community outreach programs to highlight student achievements. Develop promotional materials including photography of classes or performances to showcase program highlights on social media or marketing platforms. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, or adult learners to support individual progress and address specific needs related to childhood development or adult education. Requirements Proven experience in teaching dance styles such as ballet, theater dance with a strong background in choreography and lesson planning. Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while working with children or adult learners in diverse settings. Knowledge of curriculum development principles tailored to early childhood education or preschool-aged students. Experience in working with children & parents, strong leadership skills Familiarity with theater arts or performing arts production processes is a plus. Pay:
$400.00 - $800.00 per week
