Job Description
Overview We are a new and growing Dance studio in Ozark, Mo looking to summer instructors who are also looking to teach during our 26/27 season. Join our growing team as a Dance Instructor and help us spread the love, the passion, joy of dance and self-expression in learners of all ages! In this energetic role, you will inspire students through engaging dance classes that not only grow technique but foster creativity, and promote physical wellness. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will help participants develop their skills while having fun. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where you can share your love of dance and make a positive impact on our community. Duties Lead engaging dance classes across various styles such as ballet, jazz, and contemporary for pre teens and teens. Follow leveled skills to develop comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to different intermediate dancers. Manage classroom behavior to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students Provide personalized feedback to help students improve their technique and confidence choreograph for winter and spring showcases to celebrate student achievements Support early childhood education initiatives by designing age-appropriate activities for preschool and young children Maintain detailed lesson plans and progress reports to track student development and adapt teaching strategies accordingly Experience Proven classroom management skills with experience teaching children, preschoolers, or adults in educational settings Strong background in dance disciplines such as ballet , jazz and contemporary. Experience working with children with special needs or in early childhood education environments is highly desirable Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive classroom dynamics Prior experience in tutoring or working with students to support their artistic growth and personal development Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for dance transforms lives!
