Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Ballet Instructor to inspire dancers of all ages and skill levels. In this dynamic role, you will lead engaging ballet classes, develop comprehensive curricula, and foster a positive, creative environment that encourages growth and artistic expression. Your expertise will help students build technical skills, confidence, and a love for dance while ensuring a safe and inclusive space for everyone. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of dancers through innovative teaching methods and personalized mentorship. Duties Design and implement engaging ballet lesson plans tailored to various age groups and skill levels, including early childhood, preschool, and adult education. Teach ballet techniques, emphasizing proper form, posture, flexibility, and artistic expression through energetic instruction. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful and motivating environment that promotes learning and creativity. Develop customized curricula that incorporate elements of theater, choreography, and performance preparation to enhance students' overall dance experience. Support students' developmental progress by providing constructive feedback, tutoring on technique, and encouragement to reach their full potential. Organize rehearsals and assist with performances or showcases to give students real-stage experience. Incorporate additional skills such as photography or sewing into creative projects or costume design when appropriate to enrich the learning experience. Qualifications Proven experience in teaching ballet with a strong background in choreography, class management, and curriculum development. Classroom experience in dance instruction or early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong understanding of theater arts, dancing techniques, and performance staging. Ability to develop lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles while fostering a fun and disciplined environment. Experience working with students of all ages, including preschoolers and adults, with a focus on nurturing talent through personalized coaching.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
