  • Part-time Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Tumbling and Acrobatics Dance Teacher to inspire students through dynamic movement, creative choreography, and engaging instruction.
In this role, you will develop innovative curricula that combine tumbling, acrobatics, and dance techniques, fostering a safe and motivating environment for learners of all ages. Your expertise will help students build strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence while cultivating their love for the performing arts. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse age groups, from early childhood to upper teen education, in a vibrant and supportive setting. Duties Design and implement comprehensive tumbling, acrobatics, and dance curricula tailored to various skill levels and age groups Teach visual & performing arts with a focus on movement techniques, choreography, and creative expression Lead engaging classes that promote physical development, artistic growth, and positive behavior management Demonstrate proper safety procedures for stunts, flips, and acrobatic routines to prevent injuries Incorporate classroom management strategies to maintain a disciplined yet fun learning environment Collaborate with other instructors on special programs such as youth camps, theater productions, or community performances Utilize photography and video documentation to track student progress and showcase class achievements Qualifications Proven experience in teaching arts, dance, or physical education with a focus on tumbling or acrobatics Strong background in Gymnastics and/or choreography, ballet, theater experience, or related performing arts disciplines Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learners Experience working with children and teens Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering creativity and confidence Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for inspiring students of all ages in a supportive environment Reliable with availability on Tuesday evenings.
