Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages to discover the joy of movement and self-expression through dance. I Your enthusiasm for the arts will motivate students to develop their skills while having fun and building lifelong appreciation for dance and performing arts. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive dance lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating curriculum development principles. Lead engaging dance classes in various styles. Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and encourages student participation. Choreograph routines for recitals Incorporate teaching visual & performing arts techniques to enhance student understanding and appreciation of dance as an art form. Maintain classroom organization, manage student behavior effectively, and ensure a safe space for creative exploration. Requirements Job Opening is for Mondays beginning September 14th through April. 3-5 hours of training/meeting with a current Desiree's Dancers staff member will be required. Proven experience in teaching arts, dance instruction, or related creative arts fields with a focus on working with children and youth programs teaching experience. Experience in choreography and classroom management skills. Ability to work with students of all ages . Excellent communication skills with a passion for working with children and fostering childhood development through dance.
