Job Description

Dance Instructor - Part-Time About Us Art of Dance is a vibrant dance studio located in beautiful downtown Chester, New Jersey, dedicated to nurturing the artistic talents of more than 400 students. Our mission is to provide exceptional dance education while fostering a positive, supportive, and energetic environment for children and their families. Position Summary Art of Dance is seeking passionate and enthusiastic dance instructors to join our team for the September through June season. We are currently hiring teachers for students ages 2-18 in the following styles: Jazz Contemporary Hip Hop Ballet Lyrical Preschool Ballet & Tap Combo Classes Teaching opportunities are available on weekdays and/or Saturdays/ Sundays. As a Dance Instructor, you will inspire students of all ages and skill levels while helping them develop their technique, confidence, creativity, and love of dance. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to various age groups and skill levels. Deliver high-quality dance instruction in a fun, positive, and energetic environment. Foster creativity, confidence, and self-expression in every student. Create a supportive classroom atmosphere where all dancers feel encouraged to succeed. Manage classroom dynamics effectively while providing individualized attention and support. Collaborate with fellow instructors and studio leadership to provide an exceptional experience for students and families. Training and mentorship opportunities are available. Qualifications Previous dance teaching experience preferred. Strong technical background in one or more dance styles. Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Passion for teaching and inspiring young dancers to reach their full potential. Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
