Dance Teacher - Hip Hop Miss Shona's Performing Arts Center Maplewood, NJ Job Details Part-time $25 - $50 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Teaching visual & performing arts High school diploma or GED Working with children Working with students Lesson planning Teaching Full Job Description Miss Shona's Performing Arts Center in Maplewood, NJ is seeking energetic, positive, responsible and reliable Hip Hop teacher on Tuesdays for three classes. Applicants must be available through mid-June. Teaching experience is desirable but passion for working with children is a must. We are currently looking for a Hip Hop teacher. Responsibilities include : Preparing lesson plans and teaching weekly dance classes (students of all ages) Teaching a variety of levels and ages Choreographing dances for our June recital and performances, including selecting music and costumes Maintaining the safety of our performers Upholding the professionalism and fun, positive energy of Miss Shona's PAC Qualified applicants will be required to perform a demo class as part of the hiring process. Pay rate is negotiable and dependent on experience and training. Teachers must have reliable transportation.
