reviews $16•$17 an hour•Part-time The Gateway Family YMCA, Five Points Branch is looking for instructors to work in our Youth & Teen department instructing in dance or gymnastics. Applicants can have experience in either dance OR gymnastics/acro, both would be a plus. Please identify which area(s) your experience is with in your email. Job Requirements Must be flexible in hours/days as classes run at various times throughout the week. Knowledgeable in the specialty area (gymnastics or dance) Able to instruct a group of students at various skill and ability levels. Create engaging classes that keep the children's interest and helping them progress with their skills. Work with other instructors cooperatively. Maintain positive interactions and relationships with members, parents and other staff. Maintain a safe area for children and follow all safety procedures. Must be minimum 18 years or older. Previous experience working with children preferred. Experience teaching/coaching children in the area of specialty preferred.
