This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young dancers, foster creativity, and promote physical activity in a fun, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will bring a vibrant enthusiasm for dance, and experience working with children of various age groups. As a key part of our camp team, you will create memorable experiences that encourage self-expression and teamwork through movement and dance. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate dance curricula that incorporate various styles such as hip hop and creative movement. Lead daily dance classes, ensuring all participants are engaged, motivated, and safe during activities. Plan and organize special short dance performances. Support campers' social-emotional growth through encouraging teamwork, self-expression, and creative exploration. Collaborate with other camp staff to integrate dance activities with overall camp programming and themes. Requirements Proven experience in teaching dance or movement classes, preferably with children or in an educational setting. Experience working with children of different ages, including preschool or early childhood education settings. Enthusiasm for working outdoors in a camp environment with a lively group of young learners.
