Responsibilities Teach engaging classes for preschool through adult students Create age-appropriate lesson plans Choreograph routines for performances and recitals Foster a safe, encouraging, and positive classroom environment Communicate effectively with families and fellow instructors Assist with studio events, open houses, staff meetings, and other studio activities as needed Dance Styles We're looking for instructors experienced in several of the following: Ballet Tap Jazz Acro/Gymnastics Lyrical Hip Hop Qualifications Minimum 5 years of dance training Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience Experience teaching multiple age groups, from preschool through adults Strong classroom management and communication skills Why Join Dance Pointe? Background check required Weekday evening and/or Saturday availability depending on studio needs and performances. Applicants should be available at least two days per week for a minimum of four hours. Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a guest teaching demonstration as part of the interview process.
