At South Carolina Christian Dance Theater, we provide strong technical training while using dance to encourage, inspire, and impact our community through biblical principles . This role includes teaching + light administrative support —perfect for someone who enjoys both working with students and helping a studio run smoothly. What You'll Do Teach dance classes (ages 3-19, beginner through advanced) Help prepare dancers for performances and productions Support front desk and basic studio operations as needed Work closely with our director and team Must-Have Strong training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and/or tap Previous dance teaching experience Ability to confidently teach multiple age levels (young children through teens) Reliable, organized, and professional Experience with choreography or productions Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff Alignment with a Christ-centered, mission-driven environment Availability at least 2 afternoons/evenings (3:30-8:00 PM) Nice-to-Have Front desk, administrative, or customer service experience Passion for mentoring and developing young leaders Long-term interest in growing within a studio Compensation $16-$28 per hour , based on experience and role responsibilities Teaching and administrative hours compensated Opportunities for increased hours and responsibilities over time Why Join Us Purpose-driven, encouraging studio culture Opportunity to invest in the next generation Collaborative, supportive team environment Meaningful performances that impact the community Apply Send your resume and any relevant experience (video links encouraged)
