Overview Join our vibrant team as a Dance Instructor and ignite the passion for movement, creativity, and self-expression! In this dynamic role, you will inspire students of all ages to develop their dance skills, foster confidence, and enjoy the art of dance through engaging lessons and innovative curriculum development. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, you'll create a positive learning environment that encourages growth, discipline, and fun. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love of dance while making a meaningful impact on students' lives. Duties Teach comprehensive dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, including ballet, theater dance, and contemporary styles Lead energetic and motivating dance classes that promote technique, artistry, and physical fitness Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students Provide individualized tutoring and feedback to help students improve their dancing abilities and build confidence Incorporate creative elements such as photography or theater concepts to enhance lesson engagement Organize performances or showcases that allow students to demonstrate their progress and celebrate their achievements Maintain detailed lesson plans, progress records, and classroom management logs to track student development Experience Proven experience in teaching dance styles such as ballet, theater dance, or contemporary dance with classroom management skills Strong background in curriculum development tailored for diverse age groups including early childhood education and preschool experience Familiarity with working with children, special education needs, or behavior management techniques is highly desirable Experience in tutoring or mentoring students of varying skill levels and backgrounds Knowledge of childhood development principles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly Join us to inspire movement mastery while fostering joy and confidence! Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 7.0 - 20.0 per week
