The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, including Ballet, and be enthusiastic about educating students of all ages, from preschool to adults. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the joy of dance through structured classes. Responsibilities Develop and implement dance curriculum tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Educate students in various dance techniques, with a focus on Ballet, while incorporating elements of creativity and expression. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students. Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their skills and confidence in dance. Organize performances and showcases to highlight student progress and achievements. Collaborate with other instructors on interdisciplinary projects that may include theater or culinary arts. Maintain an organized classroom space, ensuring all materials are readily available for lessons. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs as required. Qualifications Proven experience in dance instruction, particularly in Ballet or related styles. Strong skills in classroom management and the ability to engage students effectively. Experience in curriculum development that fosters creativity and learning outcomes. Ability to educate diverse groups, including preschoolers and adults, with patience and enthusiasm. Knowledge of sewing techniques is a plus for costume creation for performances. A background in theater or culinary arts is advantageous but not mandatory.
