Pay:

$20-$40/hour depending on experience We're looking for a passionate, dependable, and engaging dance instructor to join our growing team this season! At Sunnyvale Dance Academy, we serve a vibrant community of dancers who love to work hard, have fun, and shine on stage. We're specifically seeking an instructor who can teach elementary through middle school students (Pre-Kinder-8th grade) in one or more of the following styles:

• Ballet/Pre-Pointe
• Jazz
• Tap
• Lyrical/Contemporary
• Hip Hop This is a perfect role for someone who values both structure and creativity, who knows how to balance technique and artistry, and who can connect with students in a way that keeps them motivated and confident.

What We're Looking For:

Prior teaching experience with PreK-9th grade dancers Strong technique in multiple core styles (jazz, tap, ballet, pre-pointe, hip hop, lyrical, and/or contemporary) Age-appropriate choreography & classroom management skills Reliability, strong communication, and a positive attitude Ability to choreograph clean, polished recital routines

What You'll Do:

Teach 1-3 evening classes weekly (based on your availability and strengths) Choreograph 1-2 recital pieces per class (with music editing & show support from our team) Engage with dancers in a way that encourages growth and joy Possibly assist with subbing, auditions, or intensives if desired
