This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging dance lessons tailored to diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and those in special education programs. You will play a vital role in fostering creativity, coordination, and social skills in a supportive environment that emphasizes growth, fun, and inclusivity. Duties Develop and implement dynamic dance class that incorporates creative movement, basic dance skills, simple choreography, music, games, opportunities for imagination and self-expression Design lesson plans that incorporate movement techniques suitable for children of different ages Adapt teaching strategies to support students' developmental stages Lead engaging dance classes that promote physical activity, literacy through movement storytelling, and teamwork among students Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure safety, positive behavior, and inclusive participation during all sessions Professional attitude Skills Strong background in dance Experience working with young children Experience teaching dance to young children Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for dance transforms young childrens' lives!
