Full Job Description Position:

Preschool Gymnastics Instructor Wage:

$17.13 to $17.89 per hour ( Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, with most new hires starting between the minimum and midpoint of the posted wage range )

Hours:

Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week

Location:

Gordon Family YMCA, Sumner, WA As a Preschool Gymnastics Instructor, you will be responsible for providing direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for preschool children ages 3-5yrs, teaching gymnastics skills and progression.

Qualifications:

Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act). Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required. You have knowledge and experience in teaching gymnastics and or/ years of personal gymnastics experience. You are able to demonstrate a friendly, courteous, and professional manner while working with members, parents, and staff. You have a positive attitude and previous experience with youth and diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare lesson plans with a natural progression appropriate to the age and ability of the gymnast. Instruct gymnasts in a safe and fun manner Outline class lesson plans to keep children moving Enforce all safety rules and regulations in the gymnastics gym.
