Dance Instructor

Requirements:

Must have a car to commute to studio. Must be available one-two days consistently a week (Sunday afternoon/night, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) Dance season from Sept 2026- April/May 2027 Duties Design and implement comprehensive dance curricula that cater to various skill levels, from beginners to intermediate students Lead energetic and inspiring dance classes in styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical or contemporary Develop lesson plans that incorporate technical skill development, choreography, and performance techniques Manage classroom behavior to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students Provide individualized tutoring and feedback to support student progress in dancing and performance skillsi Adapt teaching methods for children, preschoolers, or students with special education needs to maximize engagement and learning outcomes Qualifications Proven experience in teaching dance styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical or contemporary movement with classroom management skills Background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse age groups including early childhood Familiarity with working with children, preschoolers, or students with special needs is preferred but not required Ability to demonstrate dancing techniques clearly while providing constructive feedback Join us as a Dance Instructor and ignite the passion for movement in every student!
