Summary of Job Duties:
The primary objective of the Educational Renewal Zone Director is to bridge the gap between two-year college partners, educator preparation programs (EPPS), educational service cooperatives, and public-school districts. The ERZ Director will meet yearly performance goals on state initiatives and track and utilize data to continuously improve program offerings. Develop partnerships between all stakeholders in the educational process to ensure all parties are in conversation about teacher preparation, school performance, and student growth and achievement. Stay up-to-date and support districts and EPPs in implementing innovative teaching methods by providing High-Quality Professional Learning opportunities. Steward grants to support the Zone's activities and goals and oversee budget planning and financial management for the Education Renewal Zone.
Qualifications:
Master's degree required. K-12 teaching or administrator experience preferred. Strong knowledge of literacy, curriculum, and evidence-based instructional practices.

Focus on statewide priorities in literacy, numeracy, and human capital development. Facilitate training in state initiatives such as one-year supervised teacher residency, surveys, and focus groups, promotion of the pre-educator pathway, HQIM and lesson plan internalization, Educator Code of Conduct, Inclusive Practices, RISE Training, LETRS Training, coaching training, High-Impact Tutoring, career pathways, student success plans, and High-Quality Professional Learning (HQPL).
