Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Savanna School District Print Application Deadline 6/15/2026 9:00 AM Pacific Date Posted 6/3/2026 Contact Jennifer Solano 7142363800 Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range 158,401 - 183, 745 Annually Length of Work Year 224 days Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Superintendent, serves as a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet and provides leadership, strategic planning, and recommendations regarding educational programs, instructional initiatives, accountability systems, and student achievement. Collaborates with cabinet-level leadership to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the District's educational services programs including curriculum, instruction, assessment, accountability, state and federal programs, English learner services, professional development and parent engagement. Provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs designed to improve student achievement and ensure equitable outcomes for all students. Oversees the District's Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), assessment systems, professional learning programs, curriculum adoption processes, Summer Academy, and parent engagement initiatives. Provides leadership for the District's Professional Learning Community (PLC) framework, implementation of essential standards, S.M.A.R.T. Goal development, data-driven instructional decision-making, intervention systems, and continuous improvement efforts designed to ensure high levels of learning for all students. Supports principals and teachers in implementing effective instructional practices, monitors compliance with applicable state and federal requirements, supervises assigned personnel, and performs other duties as assigned.
