This pivotal role involves coordinating with affiliation partners , industry partners, the CDPH-RHB, and students to create meaningful experiential learning opportunities that enhance educational outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to building strategic partnerships. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of experiential learning while fostering professional growth in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of externship placement programs aligned with institutional goals and industry standards. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations, including businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies, to secure diverse externship opportunities for students. Coordinate with college faculty and advisors to ensure externship placements complement curriculum requirements and support student success. Manage the recruitment process for externship sites, including outreach, onboarding, and ongoing communication with partners. Monitor program quality through site visits, student feedback, and performance metrics; implement improvements as needed. Prepare grant proposals and manage budgets to fund externship initiatives, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and funding requirements. Provide leadership in curriculum development related to experiential learning components and facilitate training sessions for faculty and site supervisors. Requirements Proven experience in project management, education administration, or higher education management roles. MASTER Degree with ARRT (RT) credentials and CRT from the State of California Demonstrated ability in teaching or working with students in an academic setting; experience in university environments is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing teams or programs effectively. Knowledge of curriculum development processes and research methodologies relevant to higher education. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders including faculty, students, external partners, and funding agencies. Prior experience in recruiting external partners and providing academic advising is preferred.
