INSTRUCTIONAL COACH 4-8

Instructional Coach (with some flexibility in other buildings) (Embedded in this position will be the responsibilities of teaching and introducing staff to a variety of ways to make community connections and celebrating student and staff achievements.) Primary responsibilities will be to engage with certified staff in coaching cycles Analyze data Communicate with team leaders about the data Use a systematic approach to improve teaching and learning which may include finding MTSS resources Find and provide research-based teaching strategies Promote effective instruction Collaborate with administration and team leaders to promote communication Support technology integration into teaching and learning Provide resources for teachers as needed Assist teachers in planning and implementing Career Development Plans Facilitate peer observation Enhance collaboration among teachers by attending grade-level/department meetings and TLC team meetings Coordinate team leader responsibilities Oversee building mentoring program Ensure and enhance communication with school leaders by attending administrative meetings Help develop and review district mentoring plan

Staffing Needs:

4-8 Grade Instructional Coach- Salary +$5,000 stipend - 1 FTE position Some coaching duties may carry over to other buildings depending on needs
