Tindley Summit is an elementary school designed to spark high levels of academic achievement in children early in their academic careers. Our school fills a critical need for strong accelerated education and community development in an urban environment. We are a "Leader In Me" school always looking for leadership strengths within our students and providing them with opportunities to develop and use those strengths and talents. School Principal Position Overview The Data Coach supports teachers and school leadership in using student data to drive instructional decisions, improve student outcomes, and ensure all students—including high-ability learners—receive rigorous, targeted instruction. This role includes both coaching and direct instructional support to groups of students. Instructional Support & Small Group Intervention Provide direct instructional support through small group instruction on a weekly basis in ELA and Math Collaborate with teachers to identify flexible, data-driven student groups Model and lead small group instruction to demonstrate effective differentiation Classroom Support & Coverage Provide classroom coverage as needed to maintain instructional continuity Co-teach, model, or lead instruction to support teacher development Partner with leadership to ensure high-quality instruction across classrooms High Ability Student Support Identify high-ability and advanced learners using data Develop and support enrichment, acceleration, and extension opportunities Ensure rigorous instruction and monitor growth for advanced learners Data Analysis & Instructional Coaching Analyze student data to identify trends and instructional needs Support teachers in adjusting instruction based on data Lead and facilitate data meetings and PLCs Professional Development Provide training on data-driven instruction and assessment practices Support staff in implementing effective instructional strategiesExperience and Skills:
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred Valid teaching license Strong background in data analysis and instructional coaching Experience with differentiated instruction and small group teachingJob Benefits:
