Jul 1, 2026 Job Description The Director of Curriculum and Instruction (Grades 7-12) provides district-wide leadership in curriculum, instruction, assessment practices, professional learning, and the strategic integration of emerging technologies that include Artificial Intelligence (AI) into teaching and learning. This administrator collaborates with teachers, district and school leaders, and instructional coaches to support curriculum alignment implementation, facilitate data-informed PLCs and department meetings, strengthen instructional practices, and promote equitable, engaging, and innovative learning experiences for all students. Coordinate and support the alignment, development, implementation, and evaluation of district curricula across grades 7-12 Partner with the K-6 Curriculum Director to support vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment and effective student transitions Lead and/or facilitate PLCs, department meetings, curriculum teams, and collaborative planning structures Oversee assessment systems, data collection, analysis, intervention planning, and instructional improvement initiatives Support teachers and staff through mentoring, coaching, and professional development development aligned with district goals Ensure curriculum documents and public-facing curriculum resources are regularly updated Support the strategic integration of AI and emerging technologies into instructional practice
