Job Description

The U.S. Naval Academy invites applications for the Director of Teaching and Learning to begin by December 2026. The United States Naval Academy (USNA) is a four-year undergraduate institution with a mission to prepare midshipmen morally, mentally, and physically for commissioning as officers in the naval services. The CTL Director directly supports the Naval Academy mission by advancing the best practices in undergraduate teaching among the military and civilian faculty. By developing and supervising specialized workshops for faculty, the Director drives advancement in pedagogical strategy and instructional innovation.
