Vision & Position Description:
The Director of HopePaths oversees the roles, programming and systems designed to help Hope Academy students understand how God has uniquely made them, and His plans for their life and work. This is done within the 3 branches of
HopePaths:
Upper School Electives, College & Career classes/planning/counseling, and Graduate Support. This role provides vision, operational leadership and direct supervision for leaders within the HopePaths team, is an invaluable voice on the Upper School Leadership Team and furthers the mission of Hope Academy by preparing and launching Kingdom Citizens. ‍ This role leads the continued development of HopePaths programming by supporting and coaching HopePaths teachers, strengthening curriculum and student experiences, and building meaningful partnerships with businesses, organizations, and community leaders. The HopePaths Director also helps create opportunities and connections for students through internships, apprenticeships, mentorships, guest speakers, and workplace experiences that inspire students and connect learning to life. ‍ Key Responsibilities Lead the vision, direction, and continued development of HopePATHs. Lead and support the HopePATHs Leadership Team and pathway teachers, including: HopeARTS, HopeTECH, HopeTRADES, HopeMED, HopeSERVE, and HopeBIZ. Serve as an instructional coach and support the professional growth of HopePATHs teachers. Oversee HopePATHs curriculum, electives, programming, operations and budget. Support engaging, high-quality, pathway-connected learning experiences for students. Develop and maintain partnerships with businesses, organizations, trade groups, nonprofits, colleges, industry professionals, and within each HopePaths Advisory Board. Help create opportunities and connections for students through internships, apprenticeships, mentorships, guest speakers, workplace visits, and field trips. Serve as a connector between community partners and Hope Academy's Development Department to help strengthen support and funding opportunities for HopePATHs. Oversee the Director of College, Career & Graduate Support to support student pathways and postsecondary planning. Represent Hope Academy and HopePATHs professionally within the broader community. Reports to the High School Principal and member of the Upper School Leadership Team. ‍ Qualifications Supportive of the school's mission to foster hope in God within the inner-city neighborhood of Minneapolis by providing youth with an outstanding, Christ-centered education. Ability to effectively educate in a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, and economically disadvantaged urban community. Prior experience with direct supervision/management preferred. Experience in High School Career & Technical Education (CTE) preferred. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required with an ability to build strong, authentic relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners. Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technology tools. ‍ Salary is based off our teacher pay scale with a multiplier: $50,513-$84,111. Eligible for full-benefits.
