Job Description

Director of Student Athlete Development Davidson College United States, North Carolina, Davidson 209 Ridge Road (Show on map) Jun 24, 2026 This Director of Student Athlete Development position will be responsible for all aspects of the recruiting process allowable by NCAA rules. This includes reviewing all prospect films received and assigned, developing ideas for unofficial visits, and a team clinic that can reach out to high school coaches and prospects. Job Duties Responsible for assisting all aspects of the conditioning and weight lifting programs. Responsible for assisting all aspects of the Sports Performance programs. Work across campus with academics, admissions, and international student office. Serve as liaison with the international student's office as well as for their host families.-%-Essential, Assist with scouting by documenting post game comments for all opponents after every game.-%-Essential Maintain all communication with Sports Information and Communications Develop and produce a specific newsletter that engages our alumni and current players. Coordinate with alumni relations and basketball program for involvement with events such as Reunion Weekend, Homecoming, Hall of Fame weekend, and the Conference tournament. Coordinate the coach's involvement with development and admissions. Spearhead the development of clinics, and coordinate staff/player involvement with service activities and public relations opportunities in Davidson and the Charlotte area.-%-Essential Assist in the set up and organization management of all the details and preparation for camp. Develop creative ideas related to the daily camp schedule and what activities we can add, delete or introduce.-%-Essential This position will be responsible for all aspects of the recruiting process allowable by NCAA rules. Essential Minimum Qualifications:
