Executive Director of Curriculum & InstructionJob Summary:
TheEXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION
provides strategic leadership and system-wide oversight for the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all K12 curriculum, instruction, assessment, and intervention systems. This role ensures coherence, rigor, equity, and accountability across educational programs while advancing the district's strategic priorities and Board goals. The Executive Director works closely with the Superintendent, Board of Education, district leadership team, and building administrators while maintaining strict confidentiality, providing world-class customer service, responding to communications in a timely manner, and ensuring completion of all Safe Schools training.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in a related field. Valid Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) teaching and administrative licenses. Superintendent license strongly preferred. Five (5) to seven (7) years of increasingly responsible educational leadership experience, including supervision of professional staff. Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and district policies. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to analyze complex data, manage system-level initiatives, and lead organizational change. Valid driver's licenseWorking Conditions:
