The successful candidate qualifications include: In-depth knowledge of the Ohio Improvement Process and the ability to align professional development to the improvement of instructional practice and student performance; Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing innovative curriculum expectations and effective instructional practices; Thorough understanding of and the ability to provide leadership in the effective use of instructional technology by students and staff; Demonstrated ability to work with staff, students, parents and community; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Collaborative, yet decisive, leadership style; Ability to work effectively in a management team approach; Ability to plan and executive effective meetings with building level administrators and other teams as necessary; Identifying and improving school development issues and evaluate the impact; Inspire educational progress and innovation to accelerate student achievement and progress; Self-driven learner and leader.
