Full Time Position Summary:
The Director of School Support and Student Services support schools by overseeing operational compliance, student support programs, and safety initiatives. This role works closely with principals, diocesan leadership, and external agencies to ensure schools meet regulatory requirements while providing strong student support systems.Key Responsibilities School Support:
PreK to Grade 5 Provide direct support to principals and school leadership teams. Assist schools in addressing parent concerns and student issues. Support new principals and teachers through mentoring and coaching. Coordinate support for school operations including scheduling and program planning. Student Services Oversee and coordinate programs related to learning support services. Support schools in monitoring student records and compliance with educational requirements. Assist schools with student admission to ensure resources are sufficient to meet student needs. SafetyWellness Lead diocesan initiatives related to school safety including: Emergency procedures, safety training and documentation Coordinate mental health training and related professional development. Suicide prevention and postvention planning CompliancePolicy Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements for nonpublic schools. Assist with policy development and updates including: Teacher handbook Induction policies Act 48 professional development requirement Prekindergarten programs (ages 2-5) Curriculum development Align curriculum for students in pre-K to grade 5 Monitor and facilitate PD for early childhood and elementary students K-5Focus:

Candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing, have a deep knowledge of the Catholic faith, and agree to live by the tenets of the Catholic faith, including in lifestyle and on personal social media.Educational Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in education, or related degree is required. A Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Administration is preferred. At least 5 years of School Administration required. The successful candidate will support Catholic values and a commitment to the mission of Catholic Education.Other Requirements:
Expert knowledge of the teachings and values of the Catholic Church and proven ability to impart this knowledge. Prior supervisory and administrative experience, Catholic school, parish and/or diocesan experience desired. Excellent interpersonal and communication, including strong verbal and written presentation skills. Optimistic, enthusiastic, and team-centered professional with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve success including all levels of management and personnel. Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively address all levels within the educational ministry. Valid PA driver's license.Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Use of hands to operate standard office equipment; with occasional reaching and lifting up to 10 pounds.Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May be required to work on other than normal workday or weekly schedule.
