POSITION GOAL

To support district efforts to connect and sequence teaching strategies across lesson and units using a school-wide reach-based instructional planning and delivery model. Provides oversight and implementation of all elementary curriculum with additional K-12 duties and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversight of Elementary Curriculum Review Cycle and Adoption of K-5 Programs Develop budget for K-5 Curriculum & K-12 Professional Development Programs Develop, coordinate and implement Grades K-5 as well as K-12 Inservice Day Planning Oversight and reporting requirements for Federal Programs including Title 1, 2, 3, 4 (ELD) Oversee elementary assessments, including benchmark testing, diagnostic testing, and state-mandated assessments to ensure responsive programing and instruction Serve as the District Assessment Coordinator for PSSA (3-8) Collaborate with principals/coaches/specialists to implement MTSS for all elementary students Coordinate and implement annual New Teacher Orientation and 2-Year Induction Program Serve as LinkIt Point of Contact supporting data analysis and reporting for K-12 programs Point of Contact for Embarc (Curriculum Mapping/Management) & K-5 Curriculum Support Grade K-5 Day 190 Approvals for Teacher/Counselor Flexible Professional Development Collaborate with Building Principals, Specialists, Coaches and with families on early literacy, math readiness, and home-school connections Coordinate, implement, Support and Analyze Impact of Technology Software Integrations and Implementation including Staff Development for Grades K-5 Curricular Programs Coordinator of K-5 Curriculum Assistants and Professional Education Committee (PEC) Oversight and support of Elementary Coaches and Elementary Specialists in conjunction with Building Principals Responsible for the oversight and implementation of Standards Based Report Cards Serves as Educational Programs and Services Committee Member Perform other duties as needed or assigned by the

Superintendent Qualifications:

PA Administrative Certification•Curriculum and Instruction or Principal Minimum of 5 years of experience in a district level / curriculum leadership role, and classroom teaching experience
