Job Summary The Assessment Strategy Coordinator will lead the strategic use of postsecondary readiness assessments to improve student attainment outcomes across college and career pathways. This position will analyze and translate assessment data into actionable guidance for schools, support aligned curriculum, instruction, and ACT preparation strategies, facilitate professional learning, manage assessment and prep vendors, and collaborate across the district to strengthen systems that support postsecondary readiness for all students. What you will do Serve as the district lead for the strategic use of postsecondary readiness assessments (including the PreACT, ACT, SAT, and ASVAB) to improve student attainment outcomes across college, career, and military pathways. Analyze and synthesize student-level, school-level, and district-level postsecondary readiness assessment data (including the PreACT, ACT, SAT, and ASVAB) to identify trends, opportunity gaps, and priority areas for intervention; translate data insights into clear, actionable guidance for schools and district leaders. Coach and support school leaders and instructional staff in using assessment data to design and implement targeted supports aligned to individual student needs and postsecondary goals. Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of districtwide ACT prep strategies, ensuring alignment between assessment data, curriculum, instructional practices, and student supports. Partner closely across the district with Teaching and Learning, CTE, Student Support Services, Counseling, and Accountability teams to align postsecondary readiness efforts with curriculum, instruction, and career pathways. Serve as the district content expert for MasteryPrep ACT Prep, including:o Strategic use of MasteryPrep curriculum and data toolso Thoughtful implementation of ACT Prep courses and bootcampso Design and facilitation of professional development for teachers, counselors, and school leaderso Ongoing evaluation of effectiveness and impact on student outcomes Plan and facilitate high-quality professional learning experiences, including districtwide trainings, school-based coaching sessions, and professional development aligned to postsecondary readiness goals and assessment strategy. Establish and monitor district- and school-level action plans focused on improving postsecondary readiness metrics; support schools in setting goals, tracking progress, and adjusting strategies based on data. Manage district contracts and relationships with assessment contacts and ACT prep vendors, including resource allocation, professional development, performance expectations, and alignment to district goals. Build and maintain clear communication systems to support understanding of postsecondary readiness assessments, expectations, and supports among students, families, school staff, district leadership, and community partners. Prepare and deliver clear, data-informed reports and presentations for district leadership, school leaders, and other stakeholders that highlight progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations related to postsecondary readiness. Develop and coordinate clear, student- and family-centered communication related to postsecondary readiness assessments, emphasizing purpose, preparation supports, and how results inform postsecondary options.
