- Childcare discount (if applicable) Position Summary The Curriculum Director is responsible for overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of the school's curriculum programs. This role ensures that teaching practices align with Primrose standards while fostering a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for all students. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum across all classrooms
- Mentor, coach, and support teachers to ensure high-quality instruction and professional growth
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and maintain lesson plans, curriculum materials, and enrichment programs
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and Primrose standards
- Collaborate with school leadership on strategic planning and school improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and leadership regarding curriculum goals and student progress
- Organize training sessions and professional development opportunities for staff
- Monitor student outcomes and adjust curriculum strategies as needed Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in early childhood education
- Previous leadership or curriculum development experience preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Passion for education and commitment to student success
