Join Drama Kids as a Part-Time Theater Instructor and inspire the next generation of confident, expressive young people—on and off the stage. Why Work with Drama Kids? Our award-winning, developmental drama program is designed to build confidence, self-expression, public speaking skills, and teamwork—all while having fun.
What You'll Do:
Teach 5-10 hours/week in after-school programs (classes typically begin between 1:00-3:00 PM) Lead creative, structured drama lessons using our internationally recognized curriculum Guide students (ages 5-12) through fun speech, movement, and acting activities Direct a short showcase performance in the spring Build strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff Attend monthly team meetings and paid training sessions
Who We're Looking For:
An ideal candidate is: Energetic, creative, and dependable Passionate about working with children (ages 5-12) Experienced in teaching, leading, or directing kids in any setting Skilled in classroom management and child engagement Available on weekday afternoons during the school year Able to direct a short class performance Comfortable attending staff meetings and training Equipped with reliable personal transportation (not dependent on public transit or ride-shares) Background in theater or performing arts preferred
