In this dynamic role, you will inspire students of all ages and skill levels to discover the joy of dance while developing their technical abilities and artistic expression. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, you'll craft engaging lessons that foster confidence, creativity, and a love for performing arts. Duties Design and deliver comprehensive dance classes across Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Musical Theatre styles tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels Develop creative curricula that incorporate technique, choreography, performance skills, and theatrical storytelling Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, positive behavior, and active participation from all students Provide individualized coaching and feedback to help students improve their dancing skills and stage presence Organize rehearsals for performances or showcases to highlight student progress and build confidence Collaborate with fellow instructors on program development, event planning, and student assessments Maintain detailed records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans to track student development Requirements Proven experience in teaching or choreographing Ballet, Tap, Jazz, or Musical Theatre with a strong understanding of dance techniques and performance principles Ability to develop engaging curricula that cater to various learning styles and age groups including early childhood education and adult learners Excellent classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Experience working with children or students with special educational needs is highly desirable Knowledge of choreography creation, lesson planning, and curriculum development Skills in photography or multimedia are a plus for documenting performances or creating promotional content Background in theater arts or performing arts education enhances your ability to connect with students' artistic goals Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners of all ages Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where dance becomes a powerful tool for growth, expression, and fun!
