South Florida Dance Company has been the premier dance training facility on the treasure Coast for 18 years! Proper technique has always been our first priority, and we continue to hold strongly to those values today. We are looking for someone who is excited to be part of one of the most supportive and positive Studio in the industry. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive ballet curriculum tailored to levels from 8 years old through early college. Lead rehearsals when needed and set choreography when needed. Train young dancers from the recreational level through pre-professiona. Manage classroom environments effectively by applying strong classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Collaborate with other instructors to insure that the training our students receive is reinforced all of the styles train in. Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to students, encouraging growth in dancing, stage presence, and confidence. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students. Proven experience in ballet instruction with a strong background in choreography, lesson planning, and curriculum development. Knowledge of theater production processes related to dance performances. Strong classroom experience with excellent classroom management skills. Ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods while maintaining discipline and focus. $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
