Screenwriting Part-time Instructor Pool 2026-2027 University of Tampa - 4.2 Tampa, FL Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Film Mid-level Screenwriting University teaching experience Classroom Teaching Master's degree in fine arts Teaching Master of Fine Arts Full Job Description Position Details The Department of Film, Animation and New Media in the College of Arts & Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors to teach courses in Screenwriting.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Teach one or more 4-hour courses per semester in Screenwriting. 2. Utilize department syllabus and course assignments, with meeting times and specific reading and writing assignments for students within the departmental guidelines and program mission. 3. Manage online-paperwork grading system.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Master of Fine Arts degree in Screenwriting, or Film/Cinema related areas is preferred. 2. Experience in Screenwriting is preferred. 2. College teaching experience in related areas is preferred
